Air-traffic growth trend and the growth of all the business parameters are persistent, the Business report of JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport for the first six months of 2018 is showing.
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade signed an Agreement on Cooperation, which will converge them toward common effort to maintain the top quality of the air-traffic in Serbia.
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is expecting the most successful season in history, which is confirmed by the results of May, during which 479,402 passengers were handled, i.e. 11% more than in the same month last year and represents the highest percentage increase in the last 13 months. 5,164 take-offs and landings were recorded, an increase of 4 percent, while increase in traffic of goods and mail in relation to May 2017 amounts to 50 percent.
"Basketball Fever" has felt at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport from May 16 to 21. During the finals of the largest European basketball club competition, a total of about 160 flights dedicated to this competition were handled.
Acting Director General of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Saša Vlaisavljević, participated at Jahorina Economic Forum, on the panel dedicated to air traffic and tourism, presenting the company's successes, expectations and development plans, possibilities of regional cooperation of the airports in the region with the aim of increasing business opportunities, as well as the role of low-cost airlines in the sphere of tourism development.

JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport won the prestigious regional award "Sarajevo Business Bridge AwardS 2018" in the category of "Business of the year".
Airport Nikola Tesla has been awarded the golden AAA solvency excellence certificate for the year of 2017. Regional Director of Bisnode Southern Market Mr. Milan Dragić handed the certificate to acting Director General of the Airport Nikola Tesla Belgrade Mr. Saša Vlaisavljević.
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is setting new records in the first quarter of this year. In March, 366.099 passengers used services of Belgrade airport, which is an increase of 6.5 percent in comparison to March 2017. There were 4.355 take-offs and landings recorded, while the increase of cargo and mail turnover amounts to 21 percent.
