One of the largest global carriers Turkish Airlines will as of March 31 gradually increase number of flights from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport whilst as of mid-May it will perform double daily service en route Belgrade-Istanbul.

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has completed tender procedure for the election of contractor that will carry out reconstruction and extension of the concrete C apron for aircraft parking. Construction works will be performed by domestic company Planum Co. Ltd. whilst Minel inženjering Eving will carry out electrical equipment and installation works.

On Saturday, December 15 new scheduled flights between Belgrade and Basel, Switzerland will be launched.

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport completed tender procedure for procurement of 6 new passenger boarding bridges. The winning bidder is renowned Chinese company Shenzhen CIMC-TianDA Airport Support Ltd.

As of May 2, 2013 Russian flag carrier Aeroflot will double the number of flights on Belgrade – Moscow route.

As of 1st February 2013 Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines will launch scheduled flights en route Belgrade-Istanbul.

On Friday, July 20 a new absolute daily record has been set in 50 year long history of the airport in Belgrade. Record breaking 15.640 passengers were travelling in all categories of air transport.
