Direct flight to Bern for the first time

On November 1, the Swiss carrier SkyWork will introduce scheduled flights from Belgrade to Bern.


On November 1, the Swiss carrier SkyWork will introduce scheduled flights from Belgrade to Bern. Thus, the capitals of Serbia and Switzerland will be, for the first time connected with direct flight. Air traffic to Bern will be performed on Tuesdays and Saturdays, departing from the "Nikola Tesla" Airport at 2.05pm.
Aircrafts Bombardier Q-400, with 72-seats capacity will operate the flights.

SkyWork will in this manner enhance its offer of flights from Serbia to Switzerland. Interest for flights to this country in the Alps has grown to the extent that Zurich became the most desired destination among flights from Belgrade. From the beginning of 2011 until nowadays the companies Swiss International (two flights a day) and Jat Airways (daily flight) have scored 200 000 transported passengers in both directions.
