For the third time within a year the "Nikola Tesla" Airport is reducing fees for services rendered to airlines. From January 1st of the following year, landing fees will be decreased by 5%, while infrastructure usage price will be 4% cheaper. Lower prices will all round refer to all airlines and aircraft types.

A statement of the General Director of the “Nikola Tesla” Airport Prof. Velimir Radosavljevic PhD ME: "We are confined that by this decision we will inspire a market competition between air-carriers and that passengers receiving better service per less money for air tickets will take a great advantage of this decision”.

During last year and a half, Belgrade Airport was scoring matchlessly faster growth of traffic turnover in comparison to competitive airports in the region and in the middle of December it surpassed a figure of 3 million of handled passengers in 2011.

Thus, for instance, in October, in comparison to the same month of the previous year, monthly passenger number increase was 20%, while Sofia Airport scored decrease. In November, upon the same criterion, Belgrade had the increase of 18% and the "Nikola Tesla" Airport, with 215,000 passengers had higher turnover than 8 international airports in Croatia all together!
